The Building
The present kirk was built in 1738 on the site of a medieval kirk dating from before 1153 and was enlarged to form a T-plan in 1874. The building is a characteristic Scottish 18th-century kirk with plain glass and white-washed walls.

The graveyard includes many 17th- and 18th-century gravestones.
